Lavender and olive oil
The preparation of plant-based cosmetics is certainly not an invention of the 21st century. Already in Roman times, vegetable oils were used such as olive oil or almond oil mixed with essences for the preparation of ointments and healing products.
The extra virgin olive oil used in the preparation of the cosmetics is obtained in our mill through cold pressing with stone mills and the press. The cold pressing allows to preserve the vitamins (E, A, K, D) of which the extra virgin olive oil is very rich. Extra virgin olive oil, thanks to its high content of fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, has the power to soothe skin redness, irritation, prevent cracking, flaking, as well as counteract aging phenomena, weakness and depletion of the skin and hair.
